This site is a social networking site for parents, with a particular focus on autism. We have conducted research with parents of children who have been identified as falling on the autism spectrum and asked them to identify the issues which concern them the most. We then interviewed a number of parents about these issues, you can hear what they say on this site.
You will be able to join a support group to meet and discuss online with other parents, and you can also set up your own support group. You may already know other parents in the same situation, and may invite them to join you, or you might want to join an existing group. Some of these will focus on particular themes, while some may be geographically based and local to you.
You might like to begin by meeting the parents who introduce themselves below. To hear more about what they have to say on a variety of topics you will need to register.
